Why We Made a Stuffed Tractor — The Story Behind Stuffd

Whether your toddler ends up in your bed every night or you're working on independent sleep, there's a good chance a favorite toy is involved. For us, that toy was a tractor.
My son Luke has been obsessed with tractors since before he could say the word. At two years old, tractors were everywhere — on his shirts, in his hands, and every single night, in his bed.
We were in the thick of sleep training. You know how it goes. Some nights are great. Some nights your toddler ends up in your bed, and somewhere around 3am you discover that a hard, plastic tractor has found its way directly under your back.
I didn't want to take it away from him. That felt wrong. His tractor wasn't just a toy — it was comfort. It was familiar. It was the thing he reached for when he needed to feel safe.
But hard toys in bed aren't safe for little ones. And they're certainly not comfortable for anyone else sharing that bed.
So I started asking a simple question: why doesn't a soft version of this exist?
I looked around. There are soft tractors out there — but most look more like cartoons than the real thing. Luke didn't want a round, smiley-faced tractor. He wanted something that looked like his tractor. Structured. Realistic. Something he could actually recognize.
That's the gap Stuffd is filling. Soft enough for sleep. Structured enough to feel real.
We're a small brand just getting started. Our first product is a soft stuffed tractor — cotton exterior, PP cotton fill, no hard parts anywhere. Built specifically for kids who carry what they love everywhere, including bed.
If Luke is anything to go by, there are a lot of kids out there just like him. And a lot of parents who've had the same discovery.
This one's for all of you. 🚛
